Rapper's Intellectual Property Being Sold Off

Young Buck's intellectual property is being sold as part of the rapper's Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation. Buck was unable to come up with a business plan to clear his debt, so trustee Jeanne Burton is working to sell off his assets.

Rappers Releasing ''Mack & Brad''

Rappers Scarface and Beanie Sigel will be collaborating on a new joint album called Mack and Brad. The project was announced when Beanie shared the big news on Shade 45--revealing that Scarface confirmed the announcement over the phone.

Face and Statik Selektah later both made the news public via Twitter.

"Follow the real beanie @BeanieSigelSP Mac and Brad comin soon......" Face tweeted. Producer Statik Selektah later added, "Man, i was just on the radio with Beanie Sigel & Scarface announcing they are doing an album…. Mac N Brad album coming…. #HipHopMoment"

There is no official release date for the project as of yet.

''I Specialize In the Progression of Humans''

Lil B was announced as an upcoming lecturer at New York University's Kimmel Center on April 11th. The rapper spoke to Fuse about the speaking engagement and shared what he hopes to accomplish when he visits the campus next week.

"They reached out to me via email," he said. "Respect to NYU because they really see what I give to the world and they really believe in me. Respect to [NYU President] John Sexton. I got swag like Sexton. Spread the positive."

"I wanna keep that super secret until we get there, but what I will tell you is that I specialize in the progression of humans. It's gonna be a real progressive talk and when everybody leaves, their lives will be changed," he said. "I might do some rare Based God production and show the Based God's face there."

Rapper To Face An Anonymous Jury

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie will face an anonymous jury in his first-degree murder trial. The Advocate reports that secret jurors will be used--perhaps for the first time since 1987 for a case where three men were accused of slaying a drug smuggler-turned-government informant.

“It’s just something we thought would be better for the case and the jurors,’’ said East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III.

It is also being reported that Moore has said that he is not seeking the death penalty for the rapper, born Torrence Hatch.

Boosie still faces life in prison. The trial begins on April 30th.

DJ Also Executive Producing ''Ghetto Court''

Hip Hop deejay/Producer Eric B.has been announced as a judge on the upcoming TV comedy show "Ghetto Court." The show is currently in production, and Eric B. will serve double duty as both a judge character and executive Producer.

Cassandra Cooper will also serve as an executive Producer, though there have been few details about the show released.

The series is taping in New Jersey and reportedly 25 episodes shot. It is expected to air sometime later in 2012.
